Griots Clay?

It's all clay magic's clay so if it's cheaper then buy it.. But if it's not remember it's all the same clay regardless of who's name is on the label.

yes it's all made by clay magic but they can spec it to be made differently

color, how aggresive, a little more of this a little less of that, ect...

OP: IIRC it is very mild

Yeah, the Griot's is OK, I used it for years (starting with the green V1.0). Other than the Sonus green I might have used more Griot's than any other clay now that I think about it.

Mild, but *not* as mild as the Sonus green Ultra-fine. Seemed to be the exact same stuff as Mother's clay when I used them back-to-back but others have found differences so maybe one or the other has changed since I used them both.

Using the Griot's with some lube *other* than the SpeedShine can work well, the wax/etc. in the SpeedShine tends to compromise the effectiveness of the clay IME. And I would *NOT* store the clay in SpeedShine/lube/liquid either. It's absolutely not necessary and can eventually compromise the clay to the point where it doesn't shear off contaminants effectively.

I think this will be my next. Looks bigger and softer than the Zaino I've used previously.

How does clay look softer? lol

I used to use Griot's back when it was the elastic clay and that was good.

You lost me there...I think of the "elastic" clay as being the block v1.0/SmartClay stuff you can't get anymore and I don't recall any version of the Griot's being like that
