grill guards

i bought a grill guard a couple years ago for my truck...now it's gotten a little faded. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good products to turn it from gray...back to black(other than repainting it) Thanks.

What is the grille guard made of? (material)



Is this a metal tubular brush guard? If so, you it seems that it has gotten oxidized and you should be able to polish it out.

yeah it's a black powdercoated steel or whatever they are made from. Any certain type of polish should work?

Collite 845 If its a painted surface the 845 should work great

Try meguiars step 2 polish it works really well. Then slap on some wax. Oh and use a terry cloth towel.

I bought a very neglected used one for my truck and just meguiars #16 and it turned out really nice for a very short period. But, my point is you can bring it back.



I am going to try SSR 2.5 and SSR1 and EX and Nattys blue tomorrow on it to see if that will hold up a little better.
