Green & Red R Boxes

These boxes are part of every post as an option for the reader to add to a members reputation or to report a post.

It's not surprising that we rarely see a post that requires disciplinary action but I see many posts that seem to rate some positive feedback but it appears that very few use it.

How many here actually know these exist and more importantly use them?


 
I think people have been using the "Like" function more than the "Reputation" function lately; not sure which is better.
 
I'm not sure how relevent the reputation function is on forum environment such as this. I actually think the same thing about post counts as well. IMO there is difference between quantity and quality. I always worry that people can go through and rack up large amounts of posts or reputation points for quantity and not quality.

Over time I have learned who to look for and read info on as they always give good quality advise and explanations.
 
Good post Bobby never payed much attention to them either so I gave you a like and a green box!!! lol
 
I 'm guilty as charged also. Never paid any attention to the feature. I have used the "like" feature a time or two. When I come onto this or other forums that I frequent, I browse over the thread titles first and then next glance on who wrote it and who may be replying to it. Some posters have great info to offer or share while others may be a little vanilla (plain). I don't pay that much attention to post count but more to the posters experience in the world of detailing and what he or she might have to share.
 
I think most of us are guilty and have been using the "Like" option. I myself have just started using the Green box....:)
