gmblack3a- Was your 'vette's color called "pewter" or was it a different silver? My Mallett C5 was pewter and it was a cool looking car, but really boring to detail compared to your BMW. Your wheels look like a PIA to keep nice though 
Not too surprised that you didn't get the waterspots out, they can be tough. To *really* get them out will take a rotary and an aggressive product that'll take off a *lot* of clear. Think about how badly they bother you before going to extreme measures.
I dunno about using aggressive cutting pads with the PC. I'm sorta getting away from that and using the rotary when something really needs corrected. In many ways I think it's actually *easier* on the paint, let alone easier on me
You oughta try 4" orange pads on the PC though. The smaller pads make it work much more effectively.
