Green foam pads

Just wondering which green foam pads people are using here?

Seems they have different green pads at different vendors. Ag seems to be alittle less agressive than others, and then there is a seperate german foam pad at pac.

I need a middle step pad just alittle confused. Thanks

I like the PAC German green foam pads. They cut well, but are also softer than white, so they conform to the surface better. I can't compare the finish to white, as I always follow either one with a black pad. A lot of people have had problems with the PAC 6.5" pads delaminating. I use thier 7.5" and recommend them. Because of the shape of the pad, they're actually easier to get into tight and irregular shapes.

Thanks for the reply.

This is what i mean about being confused. The german green foam I see on PAC says its 20% more cut than the white. :nixweiss

The green foam pad (non AG version) is by far my favorite foam pad.. I can get some really nice correction out of it and finish almost lsp ready...

I say non AG because the other vendors green is as you said between the white and orange

Thanks MotorCity. I'll give those a shot.

Just cant figure out why LC would have 3 different green foam pads. Seems they would have made them a different color if they are different in some way. or atleast mention it on their site for dummies like myself.

Yeah, I've had a bunch of their 6.5" black pads delaminate. And like you said, the 7.5" mushroom shape makes them easy to maneuver in tight spots.

I think they're running out of colors...

hmm, just when i was about to get those 6.5 pads, you had to go spoil it with the delaminating issuse. Maybe i should change my question too, what is a good mid step 6.5" pad with the least amount of issues?

Maybe they should try Plum Crazy Purple.

It has been a long time since anyone has posted about their pads delaminating. I think that PCA has fixed the problem.

Being a Dodge Charger fan, I'd vote for the Plum Crazy color pad. :)

Yes they have change out their pads (PCA), might give a shot on one soon.......Plum Crazy color pads sounds interesting.

when you say PCA, are you talking about Proper auto care?

Yes, i have stop by their place last month and have notice their pads are different from the ones from the past. The last ones i got about 2 yr ago were not worth the money, but maybe i give it a shot sometime in the future.
