My grandparent came up to Nor Cal from So Cal when my mom was having surgery about a month and half ago and he had me detail it. This is a couple years old and has never been detailed. Its my grandfathers daily driver and they tow it behind their RV with they came up in. It was pretty beat up from rocks coming from the RV so they had the front bumper repainted and the rear bumper repainted from being scratched up from hitting something. That is the reason why the pin stripping doesn’t go all the way. Anyways here are some before pictures.

I washed, clayed, DACP with DA and cutting pad, Einszett Metallic PolishWax by hand finished with Poorboys EX by hand.

Haha, yeah my grandpa is wierd. Thats his little sports car and loves it. He is thinking about getting a real sports car though, maybe a Porsche.
 
Wow, nice job on the rims. I thought they were aluminum based on the first pic....but then the after shots look more chrome plated.

Perhaps im mistaken?



The paint finish looks remarkable too :D

Thanks Steve. Yes they were very happy. My grandfather went back home the next day and towed the car back home to. And of course it rained. It was so funny though cause he kept promissing me that he would wash it when he got home. Well the next day he called my grandma and told her to tell me that he washed it when he got home and said it was so easy to wash. :)

Yes they are chrome rims.
 
Extremely nice! Tires, wheels, paint, windows.............. everything looks great!
 
Great job! That's a nice acura. Besides the great job on the rims, the whole car seemed to darker up a few shades. Very nice :bigups
 
Those are some cool grandparents ya got there - (schweet wheels on the RSX - I love the RSX :) ) if only it had an armrest I would have gotten it over my TL-S

It is a fun car and he has fun with it. He taught me how to drive a stick with it. :)
