Would grabber orange be considered a light warm color or dark color?
What happens when you apply a wax for dark colors onto a light colored car?

I know i'm feeding in to this but what the hell..

the oranges and yellows like that are candy colors also some blues and reds.

then you hit them with a dark color was they get deeper and more wet looking

then you hit them with a lighter color wax they get more reflective.

In most cases wax is wax nothing more, unless it has a dye or color specific pigment it will not matter. Some say different wax looks better on different colors, that's debatable IMHO. Wax is yellow or yellowish when in its pure "flake" form from the burlap sack. How is it gonna look anything other than brilliant on any color after its cooked down and ready to be applied???:wow:

Sometimes you people just make too much sense. :lmfao

While I have sort of gotten out of buying every piece of marketing propaganda I read from detailing boards and vendors, I do believe that certain waxes/sealants do happen to look different on different colors. What I mean by that is by using certain waxes can alter the appearance of the colors of vehicles, if only it is a by product of different concentrations of carriers or oils in the product. While one wax may darken a red, for instance, another may not darken it quite so much. Whether or not people mix the waxes/sealants to get this effect intentionally, I'll probably never know. Just personal experience and deduction leads me to feel that sealants with no wax often look brighter/clearer/more crisp than a yellow tinted wax with a lot of natural waxes in it.
