That’s just cruel Ron. It was 70 degrees here today. Supposed to be in the high 40s tomorrow. Maybe I won’t sweat when I work on my car.

Flagler County

I’m in Ormond Beach.
There may not be many actual car shows, but there is seldom a weekend that I can’t find something going on in or around Daytona. Cars and Coffee, Cruise ins, etc

If nothing else, all three of these are good.

1st Saturday of every month-
Daytona Flea Market Cruise In 9AM-2PM
Daytona Cars and Coffee, Streamline hotel 8-11AM
One Daytona Cruise In 4-7PM

I’ll definitely keep those in mind when I’m in the Daytona area. Thanks

At least you can work on your car

Good to see you are out and about. What are you using on your convertible top? With all the fabric coatings out (some breathable!) 303 and Raggtopp seem old fashioned.

I’ve had numerous convertibles over the years and there is nothing like a drop top, but I think I’ve had my last one. It’s just too hot. I get maybe two weeks a year of nice 72 degree weather. The other 50 weeks it’s hot as hell or too cold and I’ve got to run the AC or heater. When I was younger the heat didn’t seem to bother me. Back in the 70’s and early 80’s I had cars with no AC, now I wouldn’t even think about it. Must be global warming, can’t be I’m getting old. Lol.

I haven`t [ut anything on the top yet. it`s nekkid!

It`s little too cool here today and tonite here in The Palm Harbor / Clearwater Beach area. It`s around 47 now and windy too.

Having recently spend a whole month in relatively mild winter (for twin cities) in MN I really feel for car guys trying to keep the cars clean in usa winters. It would be a nightmare. We drove Ford Explorer (black) and that thing would be cake on with salt and rd grime after each day. Where i live in sunny Brisbane, qld Australia (similar to Northern FL) the only things that i have to worry about are summer showers that turn car dust layers into visible water dust pools.

Cheers

Old pirate. My family and I have vacationed in Clearwater beach a couple times, the last being 12 or so years ago. We really enjoyed it

Thanks to all you Florida Autopians for rubbing it in the face of all of us Northern hicks freezing our butts off!
Too cold for you guys is not being able to put the top down on your convertible!!
That`s OK. You can deal with your various insect pests all year round, like cockroaches and termites.

Yes, it is finally below zero Fahrenheit in the shadows of the Frozen Tundra of Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. (No mosquitos or wood ticks! Don`t laugh, unless you`ve been outside in Wisconsin in late spring thru early fall.)

And yes, my vehicle, a black 2006 Ford Freestyle, is now wearing its ermine winter white from all the road salt traffic film, along with the other winter-driven vehicles in Wisconsin. It`s bad and it will not be washed until it warms up above 25°F (which might be a while, according to the long range forecast of continuous Artic weather)

And speaking of winter driving and winter tires, do any of you Autopians have some of the new All-Season Winter-Rated "hybrid" tires on your vehicles?
We had a replacement window salesperson at our house endorse his Toyo Celsius tires on his Honda Accord as a great tire to run all year round without having to change over to a dedicated winter-rated tire. I know Goodyear is making one, as does Michelin.
