Got_Leather's Afters Thread - bunch of cars

I don't post all the cars I do because lets face it, not everyone cares about a $250 detail on here really. :grinno: Well I'm gonna post a few random afters of some cars where I didn't make it's own thread.

I will post before each car what that car received.

I'll update this thread from time to time with more cars, or make volume 2.

Thanks for looking,

I notice you always apply opti-seal after the poli-seal. As an AIO, does the poli-seal not offer much durability? Those cars look amazing by the way!

Also, I assume you prefer the Hi-Temp Cut instead of Optimum Compound since that's what you seem to use?

OPS by itself won't last too long. Maybe 4 weeks. Maybe. Since Opti-seal topped with OCW is so easy and quick and delivers 3-5 months durability I tend to use that frequently. Not to mention it looks absolutely awesome. Hi-Temp cuts WAAAY more than OC. Finishes down pretty nice too.

Do you think there would be much difference in looks and durability if Opti-Seal wasn't used, and OPS was only topped with OCW?

I've been looking for some more agressive polishes to add to my collection. I have SSR2.5 and SSR1, but recently saw a buy-one-get-one-free sale on Optimum Polish and Optimum Compound.

Looks would sacrifice a little but biggest would be durability. If you can get buy 1 get 1 free, try it out. Where did you see that deal at?

Autogeek has the 32oz bottles b.o.g.o. I just wasn't sure I wanted to be stuck with 64oz of a compound that doesn't work well.

I thought OCW provides at least a few months of durability on its own??

Ya it probably could, but it would slowly wear off. You would notice a change in protection every few weeks. OS then OCW only takes 15-20minutea anyways.
