Got some new products today!!!!

I just received my order from Specialty Motoring Products today!

http://www.specialtymotoring.com/index.html

They are the only company I could find who sells the Poorboy's and Clearkote lineup at onestop (makes it nice to combine shipping). I ordered Friday afternoon and it got here Monday . Awesome considering he is in NY and I am in CA!! He even sent me a tracking number after my order and used Priority Mail. Great guy to work with! I ordered Poorboy's EX, PwC, Clearkote's VM, and CMW. He also threw in some applicators which was nice! I also went to my local detail supply store today and picked up some DACP and Swirl Free Polish (Meguiars). I think I have just about all the products I need to start my detailing hobby as a source of extra cash! I think I have products from just about all the best suppliers in the US now lol :p. It will be nice to have several product lines to have in my arsenal for whatever I may encounter (Klasse, Meguiars, Poorboys, Clearkote, S100, P&S).

:xyxthumbs

Sorry for the camera phone pic quality!

Combined with DACP and SFP, you should be able to easily handle 95% of the vehicles you run into.

BTW, pick up the bottle of CMW and see if it seems very heavy for it's size. It's the first thing I noticed when I grabbed a bottle at my local distributer.

haha it sure does feel rather heavy!!! Also, the VM isnt full to the top with product. Is that normal? And I would like to thank you personally for these products lol. After seeing the pictures of your work, you convinced me on these products. I cant wait to try them out!

I'm wondering . . . did ClearKote change the formula for VM again? In the two bottles I currently have, the product is almost white, not the coffee-with-cream color shown in the pic above. The very first bottle of VM I had looked like that, and it was supposedly from the "bad batch" (the bottles I have now are the replacements ClearKote sent me).

Just curious,

Tort

I just ordered some Clearkote VM and its the coffee with cream color. I got my order right before Xmas.

Last year, Everett discovered that the oils used for the vanilla scent were reacting with the bottles. I have bottles where it looks closer to coffee with cream look. It was all in the bottle itself and the product remained the color of white.

The newer bottles contents are more white in color. I think the photo made it look a bit darker than it really is.

I have no pictures, but I did recently receive the Pinnacle Signature Series kit, a gallon of QEW (replacing the QEW slushie), Diamondite Glass System and something else that is escaping me now...

I got my first autopia influenced order today, too.

1 bottle of NXT wax

1 bottle of NXT wash

:D

I can't wait to try them out. No pics, yet.

Where'd you get that? I didn't think it was coming out until Feb.

Go to meguiars.com and search for NXT, I believe this is only a limited time thing so you mught want to hurry.

jvg-have you tried Platinum yet? Or are you a UPP virgin? I'd be interested in your opinion of it.

I've used it since March 2003. I love the way it looks and feels. What I don't like to much is the need to wait 1 hour before removing, the streaks left if the product is not applied VERY THIN, and the loose of slickness after washing.

The name Platinum is no longer used by 4 star, having changed to 4 star Ultimate Paint Protection. This and the will to test their UGE made me order the UPC and UGE.

Just came home to find this waiting for me :) Hope to get started tonight but, will probably be tomorrow afternoon. It currently has MPPP on it.

:shocked you shouldn't be showing them in public :shocked

I cannot wait for an evaluation. You simply must get up very early to start! No need to shower first. Food is later.

I am very excited at the prospect of something better than my Z.

Hurry up!!!!!!

Yeah, the waiting is the one part I really don't like. No problems with streaking and with 3 layers on my own car, even about 4 weeks later, it is still pretty slick and beads like mad.
