Got Pc, Pad fitment help?

I finally bought a PC ($125 shipped at coastal tool) with this Bonus Kit Equipment
"Because so many customers requested the hook & loop backing pad and 6" counterweight we decided to include it with the 7424 Polisher at no cost in this special package.

6" Counterweight
Now i'm looking to buy some Lake Country 7.5 inch pads, and wondering if they will fit with this bonus kit i got, and if not what pads do you reccomend i buy without having to buy a new backing plate?..

I had one more question...what SSR# is the most comparable to DACP? and which should i get if i only buy one or the other?

The backing plate you got will work fine with the 7.7 LC pads. SSR2.5 is the closest thing to DACP. I actually like it a lot better as it breaks down more fully. You can use it with a LC white pad and remove almost any swirl.

:yeah I often use the LC 7.5" pads with a 6" backing plate. Works very well for me. I also prefer using SSR2.5 to DACP. I like using SSR2.5 best with Edge's 6.5" Durafoam DA Light Cut (green) pad texture, but I've also used it successfully with polishing and medium cut pads. The Edge durafoam pads can be mated with your 6" backing plate.
