Nuthin wrong with my internet typin mate :) You didnt seem Idiotic, Its mainly the guys who sell this stuff, I dont believe AIO should be used solely once every 6 months tho with no SG on top. Its better than 2$ Turtle Wax but to be advertised as the All In One need nothing else ever!! Kinda $hit is a bit wrong i rekon

Well, I've finally applied a coat of KSG on top of my two coats of AIO. It's pretty slick now, but I'm just hoping that it stays that way. I guess I'll put on another coat of KSG this weekend.

For those of you who haven't noticed any decline in slickness (even after 1 coat of AIO), I guess I must be doing something wrong. Hopefully, AIO 2x and KSG 2x will give me good results. Maybe I should have mentioned that although I did notice a decline in slickness, the shine is still great. The cars look much better now than they did brand new.

Hook, your car is unbelievable. I saw them in an earlier thread started by Snake.

Powerslave.. peace. You're right. There's no such thing as a miracle, invincible product. I'm going to keep layering on those KSG coats.

DetailKing, I look forward to how your modified application method works out.

Thanks! this one is just starting to get the attention it deserves.

Wait 'til you see the blue one, it's at least 2 notches up from the green one :)

Better paint, more layers of KSG, and Souveran on top. It really glows.

blue skies,
Andy

Ok in the event for the guys that live in snowy climates such as myself. In the unfortunate event your car sits outside and gets a ton of snow on it. Before you take off on your adventure its imperative you clean off your car so you can see. Basically so you arent that ass hat driving down the road and the drift comes off your car and blinds everyone behind you!

Ok so the question is what do you use to clean the snow off without scratching the paint? I havent found anything good to use on my black truck yet :( everything so far always seems to scratch the holy sh*t out of it!

Well im tired of that after the first time. Fortunately for me I can park in a garage at night, but like right now at work im screwed. Its coming down hard right now. We are supposed to get DUMPED on here in a few hours, like 8-12 inches :w00t: I love snow though and even driving in it. Makes me feel like I have more power than I really do

Would a Cali duster work? I simply dont know :(

Help out the snow noob here!

Thanks

Mike

ps- Im not selling many cars today either :(

I'm able to just use my arm to remove about 90% of the snow...I can reach half way across my little car and push it off without actually touching the paint. With a truck, something like the snow broom will work, but you still don't want it to touch the paint.

I'm also interested to see what others do though.

+1 for the SnoBrum - I just 'push' off the loose snow and let the rest take car of itself (no scratches that way)

+3 on the snowbroom. Just make sure to leave some snow on the paint for protection and remove the majority with it.

I think the main problem is that most people don't think about all the crap that is under the snow. Here they use a mix of sand and salt. You drive home and this gets all over your car. Then it snows and the snow sits on top of it. When you scrape off that bottom layer of snow it's just sanding your paint with all of the sand and salt.
