I have their pneumatic 3" and while it does get in tight spaces, it uses a lot of air and I doubt it has the torque their new ones do (though I'd bet it is better than the 1st. gen.) The Metabo was a consideration, but it doesn't sound like it has much more grunt than the previous Griot's 3".

Eh, different polishers behave differently, so it's not *always* a sign that things are going bad. My one Cyclo did that for *years* and when I finally sent it in for a rebuild they said it didn't really need it (I had 'em do it anyhow).
