2005 Chev Cavalier, Black
First of all I just like to say that this post goes out to my father who is in Afghanistan right now. With the bombing of the base today at about 2030(many injured) I have yet to hear from him. I am sure he is ok though as I'm sure we (our family) would have been contacted. I sent these pics to him as I'm sure he would appreciate that his car was being taken care of and I'm sure it's a relief to see a vehicle without 3 inches of sand on it:) On to the detail...

The car is a 2006 Jetta with about 25 000kms. on the clock. In early April (about the 1st week) I went about the polishing. The process was as follows:

Wash with EO
Clay with Clay Magic
Tires: Scrubbed with hand held floor brush (awesome tool) and Orange Lightning
Wheels: sprayed with same degreaser, washed with a microfibre
Menzerna FPII with LC polishing pad (speed 5.5-6)
Menzerna FTG with LC finishing pad (speed 4-5)
Aquapel on all windows after vinegar soak and Invisible glass
LSP: Collinite IW (speed 3-4), Crystal-glo (crystal-glo.com) on wheels x 2
Final wipe down with TW platinum detailer.

Last week the process was a wash with EO; FK 2180 with finishing pad x 1; FK 425 on wheels and final wipe down. Hi-gloss on tires and wells (50:50) x 1.

On to some pics....sorry no interiors...LEt me know what you think.

Thank you for your concern...Fortunately he his ok, he was in the next tent on side of Canada House. And thank you for the comments....these cars are a joy to detail...all chrome trim so less taping off.
