What does everyone think of the new Google Search feature on the front page?

Will you be inclined to use it?
Does it add to Detail City's value in your opinion?

The Google search bar is a nice feature. But since I already have the Google tool bar loaded into my browser's menu, I probably won't be using the one on the DC home page.

No.

Probably not.

You will know in a week or so when you see how many hits it has.

I like it. I'll use it occassionally. Since it is a tool that can be used if needed/wanted then in my opinion it does enhance DC's value. Just an opinion. Rick
 
I'm using opera browser so google search bar is built into it as well :), so I probably won't be using the one on DC
 
Where's the GOOGLE?

I'm sorry to see the Google Search go away from the main page. I liked that feature a lot on this site. When I read a post and want more info, it was very convenient to just type in the search on the main page. Now, I'll have to leave Detail City for more info.

Oh well, I'll get over it.:-p
 
It's coming back with the ability to either search Google or search DC.... might be back up later today.

Happy to hear it is returning. I too used it alot. You know what they say"you can't keep a good search engine down". Thanks Dwayne.
 
Google is back! The default setting has it searching Detail City but you can also use it to search the web as well!

That's a cool feature to search DC as opposed to actually clicking the Search function on the DC tool bar.
 
Its a good feature to have Dwayne. These guys are going to make a boat load of money. Stock is going to open at about 135. The guys that are the founders are in there 30's. Big article on them in todays paper here in Sonoma County
 
I would imagine that it is only going to hit the threads that google has crawled. So its not going to be quite as accurate as using the DetailCity search button. Its still a groovy idea to have. :) Do a search on Tyrell Fuzzard and see what pops up. :naughty
