Say goodbye to the un-official Poorboys World SC430!

After careful consideration, it's time for a new and exotic car.

In it's place: '06 997 Porsche Carrera S in Black with Aero kit, PCCB, Sport Crono, Adaptive sport seats, sport exhaust, full leather (black) with yellow seat belts, Bose audio, Nav system, PCM update, and more. :yay

This is one sick looking car when it's complete. Scheduled for February production, it should arrive in April. Just in time for detail season.

I look forward to seeing you all once again, but with a new toy.

It amazes me that we are to the point where the generation that calls neat things 'sick' are in a position to be buying Porsches. lol Sounds like a sweet ride. Can't wait to see pictures.

Very nice. We did a Carrera S during training at Rightlook. All black. We did it for the Porsche dealersip. Thing had all kinds of wash scratches and other crap on it.
It came out real nice though. Congrats.....one day.....'cept..what I want is a little less exotic...

About time you got a real sports car. You are going to love it. By the way, you'll have to join the Porsche site as well. 6speedonline, rennlist and renntech. Congratulations.
 
I know I know about the black, been there before, but Porsche black is sooo nice! I was going to get the GT Silver, but at $3000+ and no special clear-coat I could not see speanding $$$ for nothing more than a silver paint job.

Besides, with the Aero kit, PCCB's and yellow seat belts to match the PCCB color, it will look aggressive as hell.

Delivery will be in April I hope. They are alo going to trailer it to my house as we have speed bumps and want to see how many I'll clear, then it's off to fight with the association to modify them. I'm sure they don't want to have a $117K+ expence as I'll never except any repairs on a new car straight from factory that is damaged by their stupidity. Should be quite a show that day, I'll have the EZ-UP ready and a big party as well.

Sean as soon as I get more details I'll let you know. It figures, I ran out of Menzerna PO85RD (sorry Steve) and no it's unavalible.. go figure!

I have plenty of EX-P and will try the wheel sealant on the new wheels.

I'm dying to get this order in, I already have the last aquisition slot for February production from this dealer.

The SC430 is going back to the dealer I got it from. The Porsche dealer was just shocked on how well it looks for an '03.

Pics will be coming as soon as possible as I may follow it from port to dealer!

A beautifully good change! Grab some paint protection film in the front and for the windows when you go super fast.

Oh you know this will have Armorglove! Plan to do front air dam/chin spoiler, hood wrapped, headlights, fender wings, rocker panels, side mirrors, door cups etc. Like I did on the SC430! Best investment anyone can make if you value your paint!

Well, today I returned the SC430 back to the dealer I got it from.

I also included: Evolution 4 car cover, customer sun shield and the original "pie plates".

After they walked the car, they could not believe how nice it looked. Opened the hood and stood in shock on how clean it is. Not even a speck of rust on the rotors!

I got the final printout of my order to Porsche. Oh this is one sick car! I'm getting very excited to say the least! :drool

One dealer has a 997 Carrera in GT Silver with the Aero kit. I'll see if I can get a shot of that one! That was the color I wanted, but for an extra $3K and no hardened clear-coat (Cerami-clear) etc I thought not.

Besides, Porsche black is sooo nice! As much as I HATE to maintain black, this one is an exception.

Black's not nearly as bad as you think under the conditions yours will be stored in. I highly doubt it will need more than a PC/Cyclo polishing, if that, with the optimal only conditions it will see. As I'm sure you know, when washing is needed, do the extreme wash technique and absolutely get a foam gun!

With the Ceramic Brakes in yellow, the seat belts in yellow will look nice!

Dealer wants many pictures when it comes in as they do not get a Spec car like this often. The only thing mising was the Power Kit. But at $16K just to go up from 355hp to 381hp was just out of the question. Way too much for little improvement!

I see my old Lexus SC430 is on Autobytel! Dealer wasted no time!

Man I just can't wait for spring to arrive and this new Porsche!

This is going to be one sick car!

I listened to a Carrera S with the Sport Exhaust and man it is wild! Hit the Sport button, the PASM lowers the suspension and uncorks the exhaust, throddle responce is quicker and engine remapping kicks in.

No dipstick! All electronic!

New item: When they ship from factory, Porsche puts a limiting ECU chip in that limits speed to only 20MPH. This is for port entry. It's to combat theft and any hot-rodders in the port.

When they obatin the car to the dealer, the dealer is going to trailer it to my condo due to speed bumps that we want to make sure I clear with the full Aero Cup kit.

With the black interior and yellow seatbelts to match the PCCB, it's going to look sick!

Now, what LSP? FMJ, Zaino, EX-P, Souveran... We shall see.
