‘Goodbye’ Integra, ‘Hello’ G35 ; a buy/sell story

How come you didn't splurge for the 35X? I heard they are great in snow. Enjoy!

The G35X doesn't come in a M/T. It's not for performance, but for help in bad weather. It also kills the gas mileage by about 2 miles/gallon in the city and on the highway. I'd assume one if not all are the reasons he went with the RWD.

Exactly :).

I went with the final model year mainly because it had the prettiest styling, least glitches, and highest refinement. The X doesn't come in manual, otherwise I'd probably own it.

Okay first of all g35stilez?? :LOLOL - man you are a nut...the G35 is da bomb - I tried to talk him into the TL :lol - but nooooooooooo xxxxxxx! well enjoy the stinky mileage!! (hey don't laugh the TL gets 30+ on the highway!)..Love the color, love the interior love love love...and all you lexus haters - come on to each his own. He left Acura for god sakes how sane could he be :LOL

congrats Sean - P.S. did you lose the jeans and the faux hawk? You can't drive the 35 wearing that look - arf arf

Sean,

I saw you used AIO on everything before the Zaino...what was your thinking on that? Did you use the new or older AIO formula? Just curious. AIO makes the flake pop but I'm not sure how well it mixes with Zaino. In my experience Zaino is slightly more clear.

Glen: Suit and tie now...I grew up :).

Lee: I used the Pre-VOC AIO, so the old stuff. I didn't notice any muting and have nice success with durability when coupled with Z in the past. I will monitor it :).

Here's a flake shot...

Sean,

Did you finally get Armorglove to correct the film on the front? Sure hope so, as I've never had issues with them, but if they are just using the CNC cuts, they may have to review the CNC program for that model, and YOU'RE the one to assist them on this type of issue!

Interesting: AIO (pre-VOC) prior to Zaino. Maybe I should give it a try. I need to polish soon anyway. That silver flake is insane!

Oh yea, call me one day so I can have you pick-up a plethora of product I'm not using at this time. Some in gallons. Boy have I got some of "the good stuff" for you!:lmfao

That's one fine ride you now have! I know you're dying to try mods, but limit yourself to those that will not effect warranty at this point. No point in voiding the warranty unless you're tracking it.

Enjoy the new toy in good health and hope to see you on the Merrit one day!:D I'll be the one passing with the wing on the back!:lmfao

So far the K-40 radar/laser detector has paid for itself by now. Saved me from some speeding fines. I just have to have the LED's moved up from the location they are at now to a location near the top of the tach on left/right. Now, the steering wheel blocks the LED's the way I have it set. At least I hear the voice warning!

Dino: Tomorrow they will be fixing it...in the rain again :(. I will keep you posted.

How about this... We trade cars for a day :D. Whenever you need the 4 seats, gimme a call.

But seriously, I was saying it last night... I need to make it over so we can 'show off our babies'.

John: When I get it fixed, you can have all the pics you want :).

Pics of Liz driving? How about her bucking and doing hole-shots...We're slowly working on "smooth and steady". My clutch was a little stinky on night 1, but last night was much more reasonable :).

I do have 4 seats, but the ones in back are more like sitting on bricks.:D

Yea, I need you to pillage my supplies. Seeing that I'm not as busy, it's better in your hands! Several gallon bottles of Meguiars stuff as well as some hard to find Menzerna... :)

Bring her over, I'm dying to see the new ride! :D The Porsche is a BIG difference from the Lexus. Lexus SC430 was not a true sport car. Nice, but not what I really wanted. Now this Porsche has EVERYTHING for serious driving. Nice to have the Sport Exhaust, creep up to a rice'd car as he tries to sound cool (more like chainsaw sound) then I reach over and hit the sport button, give the throddle a crack and look at the expression on his face.

I'l have to call one day and coordinate a date and time.

In the mean time, ENJOY THE RIDE!:D :D :D

Nice flake shot Sean. Looks great!

I did pre-VOC AIO on my trunk before Z-2 Pro/ZFX and it worked well. I do think it compromises the optics slightly.

Hey Sean, how about a nice review of the car. I'm sure you can comment on the quality, paint, ride, power, mpg, ect...
