Good sealant for clear bra??

OK, here it is...



2005.5 Artic White Audi A4, just spent $530.00 on a Ultrashield (3M) clear bra. Seems that EVERY bug I hit leaves either a yellow or red stain on the bra. I have drove home 25 miles, started out clean, had bugs on the front when I get home 30 MINUTES LATER!! and there were already stains in the bra. I have AIO, 4 layers of SG, 2 layers of Pinnacle Signature with a follow-up of Pinnacle Crystal Mist after every wash. The bra still acts as if there was no protection!! I am to the point of ripping the thing off the hood!! Funny thing is, I have no problem with the film on the bumper :wall



I know the stains eventually fade, but it still sucks to have to drive around for a couple of days to a couple of weeks until they are gone, and meanwhile, I am getting more stains.



My question is, I have read good things about Rejex. Anyone know if this product will do anything different from the layered SG and wax? I read that the Rejex does not allow bonding, but we all know that the bugs are still in contact with the surface, and the potential for staining is still there.

I would think that wax would work better than a sealant on the bra and would need waxed more often

I would try 303 protectant. Wipe it on wet, wait a few minutes, and then buff it completely dry.

Wouldn't the 303 smear a lot? This is a clear film, it would react the same as normal paint...just softer.

I have used 303 on the clear plastic that covers the instrument gauges with no streaking. Just make sure you use a clean 100% dry MF towel to remove all of the residue.
