Good Quick Spray Wax?

OCW or Mother's Reflections or FX.

Meg's NXT booster isn't bad either if you just want instant gratification after washing, but the shine goes away in about a week. I'd rather have one of the others for the same money.

Shouldn't a booster wax contain the same polymer as the wax you are boosting?

Well that depends on how durable your base sealant is and how compatible it is with other products. If you have SUPER DUPER SEALANT as a base and boost it monthly with a spray wax then you should be good for a whole year. Worst case senario for those who go thru a hard winter is to slap a coat of Collinite on in early november.

Thanks guys for all the replies. I think I might try AW. Anyone know which store carries this product? Also can someone provide pictures of AW on a silver car? Thanks.

Hi,

For those with OCW, you can still use the Duragloss Aquawax for a little greater gloss. I have a large part of a gallon of OCW left and decided to use it over the AW. The van pictured has a base of RMG with Natty's Blue. I applied Duragloss Aquawax three weeks ago and OCW each of the next two weekends after washing with Optimum NR. I think the OCW added to the appearance of the van, but it could be my imagination. :heelclick

For a "booster", I'd say yes. However, I tend to think of say, using Aquawax over KSG as more of a "topper", than a "booster" . . . I don't expect much as far as extending my base sealant's durability other than whatever short-term sacrificial layer the topper might provide.

Hope that made sense,

For a good spray wax...I would use DuraGloss Aquawax....I have almost 8 weeks on 1 application here in New England..it has been raining on and off sine 1st of may(31days of rain so far)..and AW is still beading and glossy..slickness has gone down some..but to be expected...

This has been by far the best Spray sealant I have used ...some people have said they are on their 4-5 th week now and still looking great...

try it..it is cheap..7.00

frquent use of a good topper like AW should prolong your base sealant indefinitly. It isn't going to evaporate and the topper will take any washing abuse.

This kinda answers a question I had.... If you use a VERY durable sealant (DG 105 TPP claims 1yr on the label) and then something like AW after every wash (2x per month min probably more) will your sealant ever be exposed to the elements that reduce its durability? Will the sealant start to break down over time without being directly exposed to the element?

I should have kept reading before I posted.... LOL :ignore

I like the new SONUS detailing spritz spray wax, it's a big improvement over the acrylic glanz in my opinion.

This car gets washed about once a month and gets an application of sonus detailing spritz only.

DK's right; I'd forgotten about Sonus Detailing Spritz . . . it's another good one. I find it to be a little more finicky in application than some of the other products, so I don't use it as quite as often, but it looks great, and is more durable (IMO) than most of the other sprays out there.

Not exactly an answer to your question, but what about JW Trigger over Klasse AIO. The best part is that you can recoat in 30 minutes.

You can get AW at Carquest, and some Nappas.

Hmm, I dont have these stores around my area. Ive looked at larger retail stores and cant seem to find AW... :(

PS. Anyone use this combination.. Klasse AIO, SG, plus AW? More pics would be helpful. :)

Should I go from AIO>SG>AW OR AIO>SG>S100>AW

I have S100 that I was going to use as a topper after every wash (weekly) but all this talk about AW has me thinking. So where exactly does AW fit in? Does it take place of S100 or do I use them together?

Thanks!
