Good Price on PC at Lowes

I was under the impression that Lowes sold the 7424, but when I went last night all I could find was the 7336. I didn't buy it in hopes that I'd find the 7424. Can anybody put any truth to this? I was pretty sure people were telling me the 7424 would be a better choice for me, but I couldn't find it anywhere.

Would the 7336 be a bad choice over a 7424? What are the differences?

I got my pads and SSR in last night and I'm ready to start, so I really don't want to wait on shipping.

Supposedly they are almost exactly the same. Only difference is that the 7424 comes with the a 5inch counter weight while the 7336 comes with a 6inch one. Also I think they come with difference initial pads, but you never use these anyways. If you do a quick search you will find a lot of people use the 7336 with no problems. The biggest difference difference is price. Cheapest I found the 7424 is 119.00 as mentioned by Mitchubishievo, but then there's shipping.

there are arguments as to the difference. Honestly, i've only decided to buy a PC a few days ago, but from what i've read it does not make a difference. Or if there is, it is not much and only pronounced at the highest speed setting and if you use it for a long time. The weight can be changed though.

As I mentioned I plan on getting the weight in case i get a 4 inch pad set, I figure the 6 in weight may not be a big deal when using with a 5 inch set, but at 2.00 why not?

blasted!!! rub in my face why don't you. Anyways, I found out the one near Brickyard mall hs 6 of them. With my 10% mover's coupon that I also just got in my email, it's gonna be a great deal..

Thanks for posting this deal.

Just so you know how much you helped, I'm in the market for a washer and a dryer and a new grill. :woot: You've helped out a lot on saving me some money! You're the man!

no problem. this board has helped me get great deals as well.

Like mdsmithers mentioned homedepot has a coupon as well. For those you will usually only get one and it through snail mail.

However, the Lowe's one, if you use different addresses (bogus ones) and different emails, you should keep getting them. Also you can keep using your Lowe's one at home depot as they have no way of knowing if it's been used yet.

Hey guys...I bought the 7336 from my local Lowes and had been using the 6" weight it came with and had little but noticeable vibration. I wanted to see for myself what the difference may be with the 5" weight, so I ordered one from ExcelDetail. Using the 5" and LC 6.5" pads, I can tell you that with the speed on 5, I feel virtually no vibration...I actually could not believe the difference. I have not tried it on 6 yet as I don't use that setting, but on 5 it was smooth as silk...

I bought the 5" backing plate from exceldetail.com. Is there anything else I need to use it with my 7336? You're talking about a weight or something. Is there something I need to buy to transfer from the 6" to the 5"?

Did anyone else get the lifetime warranty for the 7336 at Lowes for $9.95? I thought that was a great deal. Just thought I would share.

Cesar

what is this lifetime warranty. I've never heard of it, nor was it mentioned to me when I purchased the product? Seems unbelievable, 10$ for a lifetime warranty?

anyways, picked it up today, came out to be 91.77 after taxes and the 10% coupon. sweezy.
