Good phone with great battery life?!?

Hey guys. For the past year or so I've had a Motorola Razor. But in the time of ownership Ive had to replace the battery probably 3 times. When the battery is new the phone with bluetooth enabaled will stay powered for the entire day without dying. But within a few months I have to charge it mid-day to keep it from dying.

I'm looking for a Cingular compatible phone that has bluetooth capabilities and has good battery life.

Any suggestions or opinions?
 
Treo 650 - I dont know if cingular sells it.
I use +/-1500 minutes per month and use a Bluetooth headset in the car. This is the first phone I have had no complaints with, I have had MANY phones and providers in the past 3 years. Good battery, it gets e-mail from 4 of my accounts, texing, usable web browser - I am actually on it now writing this.

The Razr is a toy.

They actually do sell it. But its more of a pda. Too big for me...
 
Another great phone, although not as thin as the razr is the W600. I love it, built in Mp3 player, bluetooth all the good stuff and i experenced very good batt life 2-3 days between charges with moderate to high use.

I actuallyu use the same phone T650 because it has bee nthe phone with the most Bat. life that I have found. I use it on a daily basis with a BT headset and most of the times the headset is the one that dies before the phopne does. Just my 0.2$ phone size is allway going to determine the battery size and so the battery life. Just take that into consideration. And about the T650 being too much of a PDA well all I can tell you is try it, use it and then you will say how did I get by not having one of these.
 
i have a w600 as well. battery life is pretty good. mp3 player. great reception (no dropped calls yet), VERY loud speakers. i was sold after hearing the stereo speakers
 
The W600 ought to be good, since it's the newer version of my phone, the S710a. I love mine. The W600, however, does not have an expansion card, it just has 256 megs of internal memory. This means that whenever you want to move stuff to/from it, you'll have to use a usb cable or bluetooth, rather than my ability to simply pop the memory stick and throw it in my laptop's reader or my printer's reader. Very nice phone, nice big display, very customizable. I love it. :) And I've been very happy with the battery life. Except for the one time that I was cleaning my old apartment, so there was nothing left in it, and I wanted some tunes... So I just figured I'd pull the phone out and play some mp3's. Got the low battery warning after about an hour and a half of playing songs at max speaker volume. hehe :p
 
Nextel I850, its last me 3.5 days on stand by. I throw my Razor into the XP Recyle bin many moons ago. :howdy

Exactly. To keep them slim, they have to sacrifice battery life.

get something other then a razr it seems like everywhere you look people are holding that thing. It's so over done.
 
I just got a Nokia 6101 with T-Mobile and it's an awesome phone. Camera takes pretty clear images, captures video, and the battery lasts and lasts. I've had it off the charger since 8:30 when I left for work and the battery has only gone down 1 bar
 
Aslo another to take in consideration are the special options on a phone. Like BT, Web Acces, CDMA, GSM, ETC. BT is very well known to limit the battery life on a phone. Also if you spend alot of time during the day in a location where the signal is not consistent that will kill the battery in no time. Many phones now a days are dual or triband. So if the phone is swithching back and forth from channells (bands) and since this is still a mechanical process on a phone it drains the battery faster than usual. So if you like my wife work in a place where you cant get a siganl to lock. Just turn off your phone untill you leave the place it will make a huge diference.
