Good ole Number 34!!!

Luster

COMPULSIVELY ANAL
I was cleaning out my portable detailing bag last night, and I ran onto a 1/4 full bottle of Meguiar's No. 34 Final Inspection. This was actually the very first QD spray I ever used. So I thought I'd give it a try on the black Grand Prix.

... Great cleaning ability for bugs, light dirt, dust, etc.
... Good for glass and chrome
... Excellent shine and slickness
... Nice mild scent
... Still an excellent value at most auto parts store for $3.99 (16 oz)

How does it compare to today's QD sprays?

... Adam's is shinier and slicker
... Pretty much equal to Meg's NXT Speed Detailer
... Much better than Mother's Showtime
... Much better than Eagle One Wipe'n'Shine
... Equal to Poorboy's S&W
... Better than Wax-as-U-Dry (cut 50/50 with water)
... Not quite as good as Z6
... Haven't tried Z8 (too pricey for me!)

If you want a nice daily Quick Detailer, with no streaks, and a VERY nice shine. (and you're on a budget!) give No. 34 a try. You won't be disappointed!

The number 34 is also "Bodyshop safe" so it should be good for use on vehicles with a sealant so you don't have to be concerned when you are ready to apply more sealant.

The old "Final Detail" was a great deal for appearance and price, but it was not bodyshop safe and was probably loaded with silicon. It was replaced by "Last Touch" which is probably pretty similar.

I love that stuff. I picked some up for $23 a gallon when Megs had free shipping from their site. Let's just say I'm set on QD for a while.

Since I have a gallon of 4 Star UGE, a gallon of #34, and a gallon of Final Detail, 16 oz. of EO Wet (Gift), 16 oz. of Meg's Quik Detailer (another gift), and about three gallons of S&W, I would have to say I'm covered for a while, too.:)

I declare you to be officially ... "Out of Control" !!!!!!!!! :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: Man.....I thought I was anal !!!

It's my favorite QD simply because I can use it all over the car and it will safely remove light dust and dirt and best of all leave nothing behind. Doesn't interfere with the LSP or leave any protection which is good because if an LSP lasts 4 weeks I know it was just the LSP at work.
Also it's the only QD available near me in gallon bottles (and last touch).

Ya 34 is a good qd for the price. not the best but certainly worth the cost. Yes, Charles is crazy but so are we. He just seems to take crazy to the next level sometimes. I like to think that he owns the second warehouse of pb products becuase of all his S+W. haha.
