Good For Anything Else?

I have given up using Meg's Endurance on my tires. Got tired of the gummy residue it left. Is this stuff good for any other purposes?

How 'bout sniffing? It does have a wonderful grape scent! :)

I know what you mean about the residue. It has ruined a couple of my wheel brushes....

I love the stuff. But I admit its so thick that it takes for-ever to apply, but it lasts for weeks. :2thumbs:

Megs Hot tire shine gel is my next favorite with ASD below that.

ASD is the easiest of them all to apply though.

Never had a problem with Endurance. Are you guys wiping off the excess after applying? I always apply it, let it sit for a while and then wipe off the excess. Never had a problem with any kind of residue with this method...

Me too...

I aways wipe off the tires after Meg's Endurance has been applied. The stuff is like Mrs. Butterworths pancake syrup and it works great, just have to make sure it's applied thin.

I never did wipe the tire after application....probably why I had a problem with it. I did like the way it lasted.

this tire gel works great, and i haven't experienced anything thing negative about it. give it a try sometime...

I guess it's time to go to bed...I read these two posts and I thought cjbigcog said "I did like the way it tasted."

Great product, one bottle will last you a life time.:lol

I hate gels !!! I used a tip from ScottWax and found some Nascar Tire Shine at big lots. Water Based. Zanio makes some good tire dressing also. If not that then Meg Hot or Insane Shine Tire Spray. Spray on and walk away.

I personally like Megs Endurance. Smells kinda funny but lasts a long time. No super sexy shine though, but gives it a nice new looks for weeks. And I live in Washington State. My wheels stay looks new even with all the rain. But I also have some Megs hyperdressing.

This stuff slings everywhere though. It always ended-up on the doors of my black paint. I tried everything to prevent it; more, less, wipe when dry, wipe when wet. Never failed to ruin the reflections on the door. Switched to Ultima, problem solved.

I've been using Armor All Tire Foam for several years now and like the easy application. A bonus is shooting the foam on the plastic fenderwells to treat them along with the tires.

Not to high jack, but is there a product like AA Tire Foam or Son Of a Gun in a non spray can to use on fenderwells?

The Armor All Gel is good stuff. The Megs High Endurance (purple) is good too. My tires have white raised lettering so I do not care for dressing that you can not spray on. Although I have used both ,then cleaned the white. So I tried mixing Megs and my favorite clear dressing so it can be sprayed on. This works good the Meg's gives it the endurance the clear allows it to be sprayed.
