Good for a chuckle

Has anyone seen the ad on TV for the Auto Wash Stick? This is a synthetic sheepskin scrubber attached to a tube that draws up soapy water like a hypodermic needle. I don't know if anyone has used one of these or whether or not they work at all. But I found the ad very funny.:D

It starts out showing this red Mustang that looks like was just pulled from the bottom of a lake. Then after just washing it with the 'miracle' Auto Wash Stick the car magically appears as if Scottwax or Jngr spent 3 days on it!:shocked

If it were only that easy!

Auto Wash Stick

Haahaha!! :lol They had to invent this because all the patents for those spinning brushes were all taken up already. :D

Ya know....

If an Autopian can certify the quality of the "mitt" at the end of the wand... that really isn't a bad idea. For us short folks, it would make a huge difference when doing vehicles like SUVs. Hmmm.... :D

It reminds me of those paint sticks that draw the paint up

into the tube and force it back out into a paint roller.

Seems like you'd spend way too much time trying to clean

the thing to make it very useful for the serious hobbyist or

professional.

Although if you axe the mitt from the end you'd have one

heck of a super soaker...water war anyone?:p

Hehehehe ! I find it funny the way, other started this thread and the way you jumped in saying : hey, wait a minute, that s what i use :lol

a chuckle is always nice after the day i had...........did an 1992 tercel..........the ride was badly neglected and believe me it was some piece of work !

P.S. another detailler had carpet cleaned it before and the girl told me the guy there told him he was not able to get rid of a large oily spot near the trunk lever, on the driver's side...........guess what ? the stain did lift, after i used a pre-spotter leting it work in for 25 minutes, and i must say it did one heck of a powerful job, im stunned really !! i just didnt expect it to be that effective. i would gladely provide you all with the name of the product, but it s from a local cleaning product retailler.....he bys from i dont know who and puts his company's name on it.

in case this could help, the name is * manic 1* the label says: traffic spotter, ready-to-use prespray for spots and stains on heavily soiled carpets.

i also bought their carpet/upholstery shampoo, and must say, it s real good stuff.......... if i had a digicam, i would have showed you the before and after pictures of the carpet and upholstery.......the diff was dramatic, and there s no comparison about this stuff and APC'S i have used as yet ( but mind you i havent used megs APC+, cause i cant have it in canada)

Anyway, i wanted to share about the carpet cleaner............ill try to find something about it on the web, and if i do ill post it on here.

take care all :xyxthumbs
