Good bye and thank you for EVERYTHING!

I post here (and any other detailing boards) very seldomly, as I get my learn-on full-time and detail on the side to keep me going. I have read a tonne of posts here, tho, from Auto Concierge to Todd, David Fermani, and numerous others that I apolojize to for not naming. Ive always enjoyed the vibe from this board. I live in a relatively small city, and love the small town feel of this board, where everyone feels part of a community, a large extended family. Ive enjoyed the car eye candy, the advances in techniques that many of you have pioneered, and even the decor. I sincerely hope everything works out for those directly involved, and a big thanks to this board for being waht it is.

I hope the board continues, and would love to see the Blackfire line continue as well. Thanks to those I know well and those behind the scenes that Ive never met or heard of!

EDIT - didnt realize p()rn was a no-no word...replaced with eye candy.

Todd, same back to you!

As "collateral damage" from the economy myself, I've been numb sometimes, to the continuing economic aftershocks.

Although I haven't been in the forum very much lately, I also wanted to say thank you for everything you've done. Outstanding job!

Should the forum shut down, maybe we all turn up somewhere else. So for me, it's not necessarily "good bye" but "to be continued."

Keep your focus and take care,

Jon

Best wishes for everyone who was affected by these unforseen circumstances

These was, and I hope continues to be, a very unique forum :-B

i started detailing my rides after i stumbled upon PAC. i improved immensely by all the posts and ideas from you todd and all the pros and experienced novices that were part of this forum. a heartfelt thank you to all of you for making me a better detailer and with that a better person too.

Todd I hope everything works out for you and everyone @ Pac, I remember when I quit from Performance Art and I had put my heart and soul into the shop. This economy is a B**ch(even though the current admin says we are in recovery.........) I still owe you "Snacks" when I come out to Richie's again.

Todd,
My best wishes go out to you and everyone at PAC. As many have already stated, I got my start here. You have always been such an important contributor here. The information that you have always provided and the posts that you took the time to do were legendary.
I hope this forum stays alive, but more importantly, I hope that you, Angelo, and everyone else at PAC finds something that you enjoy, and pays you well, as you all deserve it.
My best to all of you.

Wow, this is a shock! Stumbled upon the announcement of closure while playing around on twitter, immediately went to pac.com to see it was unfortunately true. I havent been as active over the last year on the forums, but this forum was always on of the best for REAL information and some true talent! I sure hope TID will remain active, there seems to be a pretty good following here, enough to keep it alive hopefully.

Thanks for all the great times and great service PAC, you have all been the best when it comes to ordering supplies! You guys never failed me!

Just a note that might be of interest: I began in this industry about the same time as Terry and Jan Frieberg, the original owners of PAC. I helped test the original Pinnacle, which was his first line. Terry has been a dear friend since the early 90's. In those early days, there was just a handful of online car care businesses, and it was a lot more fun than the present. I remember the toughest job was trying to explain why the shampoos smelled like cherries and waxes had the scent of coconut!

PAC has always been #1 in my book and has always run their business with selflessness and integrity. POC was truly.. the "original" in our business.

I will miss them.

Todd I would personally like to truly thank you for all your help with my detailing career. The write ups and amazing info you have shared openly on the forum has been a huge help to me. I pray that this closed door will open another bigger door for your future success
