thanks. I honestly haven`t the shortest clue how long I spent on this car. Are we counting the Hours I spent researching and calling people about the ffp issue as well? all i`ll say is that I`m glad to get this car out of my garage but disappointed I didn`t finish an hour earlier for sun shots
thanks. not sure. all I know about the car is that it has 16k or 18k miles, is a 2014, was owned by a doctor (who obviously didn`t deserve to own a black vehicle) and now it`s hers....I still am a little confused about those wheels considering no bottle of spray I own was able to work off those stains.
furthermore I`m also baffled how the ppf was the WORST part of the car?! this was like a twilight zone detail
Lol. That is pretty sad. Even some doctors just shouldnt have nice things
I remember working on a Lexus once that had very similar build up on the wheels and had the same experience as you and tried anything I had on hand - Sonax full effect, iron x/ bdx, megs wheel brightener...nothing seemed to work but just getting in there and scrubbing away at it which took me shy of 2 hours just on the wheels. It was like caked on greasiness.
EDIT: Now that I think about it I think I remembering using Tarminator and that helped loosen things up!
Looks like the PPF was washed with a scuff pad or steel wool jeeze but again nice recovery!
