Hi again,

I was doing my best mate's car yesterday. It's been a while since like one and a half years ago I polished this car.

Car was in pretty rough condition when I came. 110-140 microns when checking before do any polishing.

This time my mate only wants to do 1 step polish and opticoat since this car will be selling soon, but he still drove it.

So with limited time and budget my process was:

1. 2 BM wash, foam gun with Armor all heavy duty wash which got degreaser.

2. Claybar clay magic+ HD Final touch. Twice, because plenty of yellow dots that already inside the paint and very filthy.

3. Paint inspection, masked all the trims.

4. Rupes LHR 21 E with Meg's Ultimate compound+Orange Hexlogic pads(pads are recommended, very nice and easy to control).

5. Wash foam gun armorall HDW, Ozito blow and vac then wipedown IPA Eraser.

6. Opticoat 2.0

7. Tyre shine Zaino Z16 and glass cleaner with RainX water repellent.

Time from start to finish: 6.5 hours.

Thanks. Comments appreciated.

Looks like it cleaned up nicely for a single step! :)

Just curious, if the owner is selling the car, why Opti-Coat? As a selling point?

Thanks Scott for your appreciation!

Yeah, he wants to tried opti-coat plus as a selling point.

But I just do what customer wants it. The car still drives around so maybe he want to get ultimate protection.
