Just seemed like it took me longer than 3 weeks and I had a desk job at the time. One of the hardest things for me to do was sit.

I had the laminectomy for L4 and L5 also I believe, it's been a while (mid 70s) and I'm not sure any more. I had pain in my right leg. Like the other gentleman said I woke up and the pain was gone and has never returned. I was off work for 10 weeks recovering, never did anything special for it, never had any therapy or anything. It's probably a lot different today. I had an incision about 4-5 inches long and it took a while for that to heal.

Thanks, Mike. Your surgery sounds very similar to mine. So far, I'm having good results also.
