I am not happy with the soap I am currently using. I was looking into these two Meguiar's Shampoo Plus one gallon from their pro detialing line I found this for 12.99 or NXT. Any thoughts on hese??

When you fill up your wash bucket do you fill with water firdt then saop to avoid suds or do you put soap in first then water to create plenty of suds??

DG CWC = :up

+1.

I have several great soaps in my possesion (Surf City, Griots, Meguiars Gold Class) and the DG901/902 is the one I reach for most.

It cleans great and leaves my car looking fresly waxed after washing. It does this without stripping my LSP and it is available locally too.

I too use DG 901. A gallon lasts me about a year on my 4 personal cars washed every other week. The smell is great, the suds are great, it is nice and slick and if I use it in my foam gun, it foams up AWESOME. I have used pinnacle soap and was not thrilled with it.

I'm still using Griot's.

I fill the wash bucket about a third of the way with water, add the shampoo, and then add more water.

In your soap bucket..do you guys prefer to put soap in first add water to create suds or water in first then saop less suds??

G37- I suspect that those oh-so-satisfying-looking suds are actually counterproductive, at least if you overdo it. I think of it as suds = bubbles = lots of air with a thin layer of soap around it.

I've been using Meg's Shampoo Plus and have been happy with it. Foams great, cleans great, , it's cheap, and it rinses clean.

I am nearing the end though, and like always, looking for something new. I have heard nothing but great reviews of the Duraglos soap.

My current favourite is fk118. Great cleaning ability, no spot rinsing, shiny finish and lsp safe.

Water then shampoo then 5 seconds with the pressure washer.

Duragloss makes an incredible soap and if I were going to do traditional hose washes, I would probably use their product due to it being a great soap, available over the counter and very cheap.

Optimum's soap is probably a little better but since you have to order it and it costs more, I would probably stick with Duragloss if I hadn't been an ONR convert.

....ever since I tried DG 901/902 a while back, I have switched to it as my "go to". ....at least for now.

Just washed my car about an hour ago and I actually love the cherry smell of DG. It reminds me of the Ludens cherry losenges (sp?). Those things were like candy! :P

Car wash is about the only thing I haven't gone the "gotta try everything" phase with. I use Duragloss, cheap, OTC, and works great.
