Going to buy a PC kit! Help on choosing..

I was looking at this kit from autogeek.



Things I plan on doing are - light swirl removal, removing old wax/sealant, applying wax/sealant. Thats pretty much it. How does this kit meet my criteria? This kit includes the Lake Country pads correct? (CCS?)



Would I be better off purchasing items seperately? (I doubt I would save any money..).



I have just over $200 to spend..I did polishing by hand once and decided that I need a PC!

This is another alternative. Its a few bucks less. The one you are looking at has a few more items but i dont think all of them were necessary (example: pad cleaner). I just bought this one and havent even used a PC yet buffing: )so take my suggestion with a grain of salt.

If you can find the PC locally for that clearance price at Lowes you are much better off buying separately. At the former price of $100 that I got mine at, I priced it out and it was pretty much a wash between buying separately and buying a kit from AG. But if you can get the PC for $50 yet, then you will save a lot of money buying separately.

I think most of the Lowes in my area (Long Island) have cleared out the PC's...sucks..

That AG kit is a great value, especially when combined with the "clubmember" or "autopia" 10% discount. They might even do free shipping, making it only $180 shipped.

I think the kit Danase sells is a great deal when you throw on the 10% autopia discount, and the fact that he'll ship any order over $195 for free doesn't hurt either.

Does the pad brand matter that much? Kind of like brand matters when you are buying MF towels..

It looks like a good kit to start with. The pad cleaner, from looking at reviews and pictures of befores and afters of caked pads, works like it says. Do you already have liquid polishes and compounds? If not, there's PC kits that include those.
