Going Foreign

Over the last year are so, Ive noticed that most of my detailing products are foreign. 2 bottles of P21s wash, 2 Jars of P21s wax, Menzerna car kit, Klasse twins, P21s p.c.. The only american products I have is crystal mist, 1 jar of souveran paste wax. Oh 1 bottle of zymol wash(blue) or does that count. I tend to stay away from Plain label products. Are these products better than american products. Just curious.

I don't think imported or domestic products are better than one another. There are a ton of 'domestic' companies that make great products like Poorboy's, Meguiar's, 4 Star, etc. Detailing is highly subjective and you would be hard pressed to find a general consensus on one product. Try whatever you want and if you like it, go for it.

Big Boy,

The Klasse twins are plain labels here in Europe...

You can find them branded as Carlack. Does it say much to you?

Look deeper! Who thought of Honda in the 70s, to become an absolute threat to the Establishment? Plain labes often clever lean methods to conserve cash; to be able to serve the customers. Work with Poorboy's! Excellent. Hi Temp is soooo ugly, but excellent too... Just ask Anthony.

So, assess professionally - you don't eat the packaging only, do you?

Well this was somewhat brought up the other day here.It seems to some people that if it's imported and expensive and hard to find that it has to be good or maybe just plain cool to say I have Klasse or something like that on my car.I think it was in a NXT thread or bashing.I think the Meguiars line has a lot of products that can compare to some of the more expensive or imported products.Zaino isn't imported and look at the following for that !

and curiously enough, I sometimes feel as if the USA has the best deal for detailing products. The 'grass is greener' indeed.

I wonder why there are so many German detailing products, but very few Japanese products. I'm not sure I can name one.
