Glaze over Poli-Seal?

Looking for recommendations here, I'm wondering if a glaze (RMG) could be applied over OPS or if OPS should only be used as a true one-step? I have a vehicle that's in pretty good condition but would like to add some extra wetness to it. I just bought the OPS and am *itching* to try it (ya know) but would like to get the extra wetness with the glaze. I could re-AIO, glaze before OPS, but I'm afraid OPS will remove the glaze. Any recommendations as to the best solution?? Thanks.

Give it a shot. *I* would simply use a finishing polish and then the glaze as the glaze is likely to remove some of the qualities of OPS.

Thanks SpoiledMan. The vehicle base paint is in pretty good condition except some spiderwebbing. This is what I'm trying to decide between (or better?)

OPS

RMG

Blitz Wax

AIO

RMG

I use sealants over Poliseal with no prob..I know it's different, but poliseal isn't just a one step. Give it a try, if it doesn't work, you get to detail again... win/win :)

Ain't that the truth! I really want to give the glaze + RMG a shot and agree about topping it with a wax or sealant. Just hoping it comes out OK...if not...try, try again! Thanks for suggestions.

Hi

Your paintwork is porus and that is where your oils (from your glaze) go.

So where are your glazing oils going if you apply them over say AIO?? They cannot be going to in to the paintwork as AIO has protective properties.

There for you must be wiping off alot of your glaze, a small amount maybe filling minor imperfections in your AIO sealing finish.

Really, to get the benefits of the wet, deep look a glaze can help create you need to use a dedicated paintwork cleaner first unless you are using a polish with cleaners.
