Glaze or Sealant

Doing a 71 mini cooper right now that had bad swirls... plus it's got a car show to attend in a few days. DACP and SSR2 got the swirls out, now trying to make it look it's best. Wondering if I should apply #7 Show Car Glaze and THEN a sealant, or just go straight to a sealant (bonding issues with the glaze?). Sealant of choice is Poorboy's EX-P, probably going to put #26 or S100 over it.



By the way, it's bright orange with some air brushing.

I know with Menzerna I use the glaze and then the FMJ over top (as recommended) so I don't see why there should be any bonding issues.

I would just glaze and then go straight to a carnauba and skip the sealant step. I like the looks of a sealant-less combo more than one that uses a sealant.

For car show prep, I highly recommend use of a high gloss glaze topped with a quality sealant . . . finish with several layers of pure carnauba. The glaze and sealant will bring out the paint’s color, clarity, and shine . . . carnauba will add depth and liquidity. Good luck :xyxthumbs
