Glass?

Does anyone here like to use a wax or other LSP on glass? I typically use RainX on my windshield, but mirrors and side windows get pretty spotted up with it.

Also, do many people polish the glass to get rid of hard water stains and to get it looking its best?

I normally will clay my glass once a year. I then put a coat of Collinite 845 on them since it last quite a while.

I also polish it once every other year or so.

i use a spray wax on my windows, and i just use up my old bottle of scratchx on a polishing pad (with the D/A) to clean up the windows...

I used to put a "regular" wax on my windows--now I just use UQW. Rain-X, in my opinion, is useless. Something like UQW works just as well and is MUCH less temperamental.

It's funny that you don't like RainX. 95% of cars I see in a light sprinkling rain have their wipers flapping full bast because they don't use anything at all.

What exactly don't you like about RainX? I've always liked it and for ~$3 it's nice to have something that lasts 3 months an application. I'm open to new ideas though.

Ive used NXT 2, DGAW, and VM on glass and they all work well. I expect 845 to be exceptional, but havent tried that on windows yet.
