Swirls?!?! NNOOOOOOO!!!!!
I recently thought about how (years ago) Glass Wax (or for those of you a wee bit older-Bon Ami Glass Gloss) was used with stencils to make pictures on the windows. You wiped the stuff on over a stencil and the resulting haze left a picture, the way the "spray snow" stuff is used today. Glass Wax hasn't been made for years (Glass Gloss... even longer) but I was thinking something like ProPolish or a cleaner wax could be used instead.
One of the "benefits" of using Glass Wax for this was that you cleaned the windows by removing the residue after Christmas. (With the 'spray snow' you need something else to clean up the residue afterwards.)
Anyway, no real point here... just reminiscing and passing along a thought to anyone that may still remember this method of decorating and wants to "re-live" a memory.:wreath:snowman:
