Glass polish with random orbital on 2004 Acura MDX glass?

I understand that some glass on Japanese cars is coated, and machine application on glass is not recommended. Does the 2004 Acura MDX have coated glass? I asked the local dealer, and even they didn't know (and referred me to Novus).



Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Polish away! (exterior). I just polished the glass on our brand new 06 rl with no issues. I have never heard of this "coating"
