glass polish on paint

well... simple question.



i used cerium oxide with an orbital and it splashed everywhere. is this stuff safe on vinyl, leather, rubber, car paint, eat off wax, etc... Thanks in advance.

hey_i'm_new- I would expect it to be *extremely* abrasive, as glass is much harder than paint. I'd be *EXTREMELY CAREFUL* about how you remove it (lots of water and high-lubricity shampoo, very gentle contact with wash media, etc.) and I'd be prepared for some damage that will need correction. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but stuff like that can cause big problems and you need to take precautions when you're using it.
