I wanted to try the 3D HD Glass since we just got the 3D products in at Autopia, and I decided to compare it to 1Z Einszett Windscreen Clear and see what differences they had.

My windows on the 1996 Honda Civic were pretty dusty, and had some water spots and some tire dressing over spray. My little brother wanted to be nice and try to help detail my car but he used the wrong product on the wrong place, but it's alright he's still learning.

Both products did a great job, the 1Z Einszett Windscreen Clear was better at cleaning, it took less effort to wipe off the smudges and water spots. The 3D HD Glass wasn't as strong of a cleaner as the 1Z Einszett, but there was basically no streaking where the 1Z Einszett left minimal streaking. Please note, I was doing this in direct sunlight around 4:00 p.m. so the products dried quick and some streaking does occur. Both products worked great on the tint, it was a little cooler inside the vehicle so there was no streaking from both products inside on the tint.

My stoner invisible glass is almost gone, so I'm looking to try something new, now which one to choose is the question, I do love 3D products...great review Jesse

I wonder how the HD Glass compares to their 50:1 Glass Cleaner (which I still haven't gotten around to using).

Jesse@autopia- Yeah, thanks for the review, always interested to hear how 1Z and HD products work out for people.

IZ Windscreen Clear is fantastic, but the smell is a bit much for interior use. It's not horrible, just a fairly strong chemical scent. It's the best I've used for exterior windows.

Jesse, thanks for bringing these products to our attention. For whatever reason, I've got really bad water spotting on our vehicles' glass following this winter season. Do you think the 1Z product was superior in that area?

The 1Z, is amazing! It can even be diluted...1:5 I think it says on the bottle. It works great but isn't as harmful on trims and such.

It did remove my minor water spots on the glass, but if the water spots are etched it is definitely going to be harder to remove.

WOW !! 1Z is hitting it out of the park with their glass-related products! I had a chance to try the Windscreen Clear this weekend on a couple of cars. I am amazed by its ability to clean (no effort, single pass) and leaves clarity like you cannot believe. How do the Germans come up with this stuff !!?? Is there some issue about using this in the interior??

I also refreshed my supply of their booster-like product and I took in a supply of their winter product to check out this coming season.

Works great on interior as well! Even on tint! :bigups

Great, honest review Jesse!!

I wonder how the HD Glass compares to their 50:1 Glass Cleaner (which I still haven't gotten around to using).

The main difference would be that HD Glass is a RTU where 3D 50 to 1 is a concentrate. There are also additional ingredients in HD Glass that 3D's concentrate doesn't have.
