Used these two products....they are both great on glass. They won;t fix anything...just give the glass that extra ummp. I clean'd the glass twice before poilsihing...
Also
I used this new backing plate and pads....I do not recommend it. The backing plate flew off twice ...flew off like a bullet out into the drive way.....I made it extra tight and still flew off...

I would agree Jeff............. the Z12 is really nice stuff. Adding Z2 over it makes it even nicer! Never tried the Autoglym. Which one do you like better............. or no difference?

Thanks for the tip on the backing plate!

I prefer Z glass polish..But wouldn't hesitate with Autogylm...
I hate to do glass...but...iits so important...makes a vehicle look extra good..

Again, I would agree! Do you use Z2 over the Z12?

I didn't try it......after poishing...i wanted to get out some polish with some teeth to help get out some pits and acid rain marks I started seeing....
I've used the rotary and 3m's stuff on my plastic head lights with success....need to try something on my glass...jeff

I can only Imagine glass polish with a rotary. Does it have to be a special pad or can it be a buffing pad or some sort.

I use natural look on my pc. It keeps it looking shiny but not too much so. I usualy just buff and wetsand glass like normal paint. It's becoming more and more plastic so it's becoming easier and easier to do that with. Polymers buff and sand very nicely.

I used 303 on my Rotary It freshned it up. Koop Is the glass gettin easier to chip and crack because of it being plastic nowdays I find that all the newer glass chips easier.

Tass- It comes with a kit including Autoglym polish avaiable at CMA but Dwayne may have it too.

Frozen- where did you hear that windshields are plastic?

Ahh I thought that was what it was, since that kit looked like theirs.

So that backing pad is bad? That sucks, because I was considering buying their small backing pad, a 4" Orange Power Pad, and a 4" white polishing pad to do spot repairs on cars. But you say that backing pad is bad eh?

It was there backing plate ...the whole thing that was flying off my PC.....the pad was velcro'd on and stayed on....The backing Plate had a screww adapter and then the plate screw'd into that.....I can get a picture if you want..

You can always look at the Topoftheline PC Pad kit its awsome it has the carpet brush to which is awsome. I want one for my rotary anyone know if they make them. ?

Topoftheline doesnt sell somethign I am looking for, and their prices are rather high.

Does anyone know of a palce I can get a 3.5" velcro NON THREADED ADAPATER backing plate? I need something to do spot repairs with, and I do not want to risk a backing blate flying off while im working that close to some very delicate paint.

I'm asuming he got that from my post. Windshields are still far from being platic. But they are using more polymers and plastics in the glass that windshields are being made now. In essence they are becoming more plastic.
