Giving UPP a try.

I've had UPP on my car for about two months, with absolutely no change in looks or beading. It has also done a decent job of stying slick.

Durability is of no concern to me at all.

wow. that stuff is amazing! I just did the process on my car did AIO + UPP, only 1 coat of UPP cause my sample is running out. But, it still looks incredible. I'm guesisng the durability isn't as good as sourvern or #16, but you can't beat the liquid slickness of that stuff. Who sells the stuff for the best price online?

Glad you like the UPP, I sure love it on my S8. I get mine from Premium Auto Care . Don't know if they're cheapest, but their service has always been good.

Oh, with practice you'll probably put it on in thinner coats than you did the first time. It's not one of those "must apply thin" products, but I still like to use the minimum required.

I just detailed my car. Wash, VM, RMG and UPP*2. Tit Silver car. Should I stop there or add a wax (NXT, Souv or something else) to finalize the process. Not sure if another step would be overkill on a silver car. Let me know your thoughts.

I would definitely not top it with anything except another layer or two of UPP. It looks amazing by itself. Don't ruin a good thing.

I just detailed my car again last night. I had AIO+UPPx3+PasteGlaz x3. It looked awesome with Paste Glaz.

Last night I did:

Clay, GEPC via PC on 2 with a finishing pad, UPP. It looks and feels great, so I may just apply another layer of UPP after the next time I wash it, and leave it at that.

IMO, UPP looks great by itself or topped with a carnauba. You can't go wrong.

I always follow that general rule of letting any LSP cure for 24hrs before adding another coat. I would say yes.

Actually, very often I'll wait a good 48hrs+ between layers, and I'll park in the sun a lot to aid in the curing process.

FWIW, I have even experimented using EO W&S to spritz the foamy during application of UPP. BTW, the UPP I have has the consistency of AIO. The QD really helps to get the UPP on thin. I've even wiped it off within minutes of application, just as soon as it hazes, and have always obtained incredible shine and slickness.
