Give me Your Opinion

Looks good Shaun....I seriously doubt the consumer analyzes cards anyway. Its more of a first impression. It looks good!

I like the colors, looks classy & clean. I agree with all the comments made about revising your wording. Great job.

shiny if you have a beef with me we can handle it by pm or e mail .. dont be flaming people here ... im not the dc police but we try not to hijack threads here ... welcome to dc ... also you have a pm ..

I'm the DC police and I don't really see any thread jacking here... until now. Let's all try not to take offense where none is intended. If you are looking for offense then I'm sure you can find it. Let's all try to be a little less sensitive and start acting like the gruff thick skinned detailers we are, comprende?

Shaun, I know I'm a little late to the party but, I'm gonna echo some of the others comments about some of the phrases and the diffent fonts.

All in all I like the card.
Have you come up with the final revision yet?

:bigups

Oh and for the original poster, I just found a copy of my business card that I had stashed on my web server... it isn't as color-heavy or fancy, but it gets the job done:

Run spellcheck before you have it printed, I noticed real quick "maintenence" instead of "maintenance".

I agree with the previous post about too many fonts, along with too many CAPS.

I can't be fooled. Lest we forget.. I am The Fuzz. :naughty

Alrighty now.... back to the thread. :hijack

Sorry everyone, just got back from a couple days of snowboarding up north. The revisions will be done by jan 9th as that is when the special offer on the cards runs out. Again, thank you for the suggestions.

Brace - I would never have noticed that spelling error so thanks.

The redesign looks real good.
I would think that if you are a member in good standing there would be nothing wrong with you putting it on your card.

Wow, man... That looks really good. That is a big difference from the first version. :bigups Great work!

I don't know what joining the PDTA would really do for you. You might as well start your own website and charge people $75 to be linked in your detailer locator. Membership in an organization that nobody knows about doesn't give you credibility. The proof is in the pudding, so just do good work and expect to get referals based on that work.

For what its worth, I'm going to build a detailer locator in the new version of OCDetails.com that you are more than welcome to put your information in. Don't pay $75 if all you get is your name on the web. There are plenty of places you can do that for free. :)

Thank you...one last question; If I join the PDTA can I put there info on my business card?

I don't know why you would want to do that. Paying somebody $75 to belong to their site doesn't make you a professional. It doesn't even make you a detailer. All it means is that you know how to use PayPal. Anybody going to that site to find out what your credentials mean would be able to see that.

Tell you what... pay me $75 and I'll let you tell everybody you are the Vice President of Love Buzzard Enterprises. :naughty It sounds flashy and will get you attention from the ladies. :dnaughty
