Gilmour Foam Gun Question

I have a question about the quick disconnect on the spray nozzle of the
Gilmour foam gun. I was wanting to use a Dramm shutoff valve instead of
the pistol grip sprayer that comes with foamgun. I was trying to remove
the quick disconnect from the end of the pistol grip spray head and it
seems really tight. I do not want to damage it. Is it pressed on? Do you
just buy a new disconnect to put on the shutoff valve?

Yeah, it's tight. I used WD40 to help a little in getting it off. It's the typical screw type connector though.
