the first thing i want to do is strip the paint of any contaminates that are there. second i want to polish it with menz sip or megs 205, i don't think there'll b to many scratches in the paint, then you never know. next i want to apply some prima amigo and on top of that either bfwd or fk1000. i need some feed back as to what you guys think of this plan or have suggestions for something else. thanks for your input.

If its brand new and not touched by the dealer, just some HD Polish or PO85rd will do nicely. My C6 actually had very well polished paint from the factory. The paint is rock hard as well. I clayed it and got zero marring, not even hazing.

I think you will know once you examine the paint closely, as stated, the paint is very hard. If there's marring and swirling at all, it will take some good cutting polish to get it right. If there's little no no swirling on it as is, then what's been suggested will work fine.

thanks for the replies. i have megs 105, 205. menzerna sip and super finish, what out of these would be best to use, or should i order whats suggested by you guys.

"best to use" depends on the condition of the paint, and how good you want to make it. Try the 205 first, and if that doesn't work, try the 105 and reevaluate the paint. Follow that with 205 for best results.
