I found some of those spray bottles I was referring to at Target for $2.99 apiece.

Might pick one up and see how it does.

please, if you do pick one up, tell us how it goes. i am very curious about this.

Just received an order from US Plastics and wanted to add my input. Delivery time was excellent, everything I ordered was correct and price was reasonable.

Their black hand pump (hairspray type) sprayers work very well and are decent quality. Bought four of these. http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/pr...nd+Bottles+with+Finger+Sprayers&cookie_test=1

Their PVC bottles http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/pr...r+Sprayers&product_id=PVC+Clear+Spray+Bottles

are very nice as well and very clear, the blue/white spray nozzles that come with them are junk though. All three spray heads drip from the cap and the nozzle (even in the off position). I was going to use these for window cleaner, carpet cleaner and FD but will need to continue my search for a better nozzle.:(

Would be interested to know if anyone has used their pump up type sprayers, that would be nice for the tire treads at concours events.

Afshin,

How about Griot's Ultimate Sprayer?

I think mine drips, actually. But have you tried it at least?

Justin, I'll let ya know how the target-type works.

Ben,

Actually I have a set of Griots sprayers on some other bottles, didn't think to check if they would fit. Thanks for the idea:)

The Griots nozzles do drip when in the open position but I haven't had a problem with them when closed. To be honest I've never purchased any spray nozzle that doesn't have a drip in the open position including the Home Depot Zep Srayers. Maybe I just have bad luck with these things.:( :nixweiss

They have those things at WalMart in the cooking section. Its a pressure sprayer used for stuff like olive oil. I bought one but haven't used it.

Thanks for the tip Bret

I just bought one from Wal-Mart, Oil-O-Pump brand for $4.88. Now I'll have to see which product to use with it first.

I re dressed my tires using 303 in this sprayer.Seems pretty good for low profile tires, not as much drips onto the wheels. I spray and then wipe with a EO type tire wipe cut in half. I pump the bottle between spraying on each tire. I think this will be a new way of applying the 303 on tires for me :up

Ha! I don't believe I didn't actually take a peek at this thread until today. :)

I currently have one of those pump-up aerosol bottles you find in the cooking aisle and use it for QDing. I only keep it about 1/3 full so that I can swish the QD around without actually shaking the bottle.

It actually seems to work okay I think, as long as it's not too breezy outside and I don't "overpump" it and pressurize it too much, otherwise the spray becomes a mist that's too fine for my liking. I usually end up pumping it up again 2 to 4 times in a QD session. When I'm done I loosen the cap to de-pressurize it and put it away.

Cool replies. I'm going to pick up one of the Wal-Mart/Target ones and give it a shot.

I'm mainly thinking of using it for dressing wheel wells, grilles, etc.

I'm getting another one for Final Detail, hope in conjunction with my df towel smearing issues will be resolved

Shopping at W-S, you bunch of pretty boys! :D

Yeah, don't forget to wear your pretty little skirt!

You can probably check BB&B and save a few dollars if you like that type of sprayer. Or, do the Mosca special and go low budget.

Well I placed a second order with US Plastics last week and again all items arrived on time. On my order form I also made a note about the poor spray nozzles and asked if others were available for purchase. They never responded but when I received my package I also received a second box which contained 10 (Note I only ordered 3) spray nozzles. I checked them and they don't leak! That is what I call excellent customer service:up . I'll post my finalized concours kit showing all these bottles.;)
