GEPC/1Z MP. Remove Klasse Twins??

Hello Autopians!!

I need some help on this one. As part of my prep, I typically use either the P21S Paintwork Cleanser or 1Z MP before the Klasse Twins/P21S combo. ( I alternate the P21S wax with Souveran ) I know the GEPC & the 1Z MP remove Carnaubas but will they remove the Klasse AIO & SG? Please keep in mind that I do all polishing, sealing & waxing by hand. Also........In prepping for Zaino, Will Dawn or Z7 remove the Klasse Twins? I'm not too keen on the idea of a "Dawn Wash" so I'm hoping the Z7 will do the trick. Any thoughts, anyone??????

Klasse AIO removes Klasse SG and gives you a surface ready for wax (P21S, Souveran) or sealant (Klasse SG, Zaino). I believe P21S PC serves the same purpose as AIO. :nixweiss

What I forgot in my post was the fact that I'm looking to strip the Klasse Twins combo I currently have on my Tacoma. I'm either gonna try the WG or Zaino this week and I wanted to start from scratch. ( I love to experiment!! )
 
you could probably do an Alcohol wipe. I think that will remove any oil on the surface. Very useful when before you apply Zaino
 
BlkTac05- Either of those should remove the K twins as long as you work them properly. Don't just wipe on /wipe off or you might end up cleaning the SG instead of cutting through it. I'd use the MP myself, but remember that it leaves wax behind.



IMO/experience Dawn will *not* remove KSG (or even some tough waxes). But alcohol/water mix does remove it just fine.
 
Rob,

Z7 or Dawn wash with a 50:50 IPA and water mixture afterwards will set the stage for all LSP's.

You know my suggestion(s) was/were for the polish steps. ;)
