Gasoline in your area

I did read that Atlanta area requires specific gas to meet smog laws

I do think we should generally have the same gas formulations country wide. This has got to make distribution easier.

If they made it just two grades, one for areas with smog issues and one for those that do not, I believe that there could be some cost savings. Yet what happens is officials believe their situation is unique and thereby the blend needs tweaking.
 
In the Chattanooga, TN area, it's 3.79 - 4.20 ....most pumps in Ringgold, GA ( just across the state line ) are shut off...no one has 87 octane. It's not looking good. This along with the market crash...it's got me nervous
