Still miss my truck and actually want another one now (Tacoma or Frontier). The old 2-door truck was becoming a bear with two kids (one still on oxygen since birth last year), and the back seat was pretty well useless in the context of a family. My wife hated driving the truck. So, I went from a big, slow, automatic, to a low, semi-quick, 5-speed. It's a blast to drive and handles like a champ. Mods include: Eibach Pro-Kit springs, drilled rotors, Injen CAI, SR Motorsports Exhaust, Corksport intake duct. I have 17" Ikon wheels that I took off of it because the 40 series tire just isn't enough rubber between the car and the road for me. Anyway, bad lighting in the pics and I don't take very good pictures, but the process was:

Wash with MGC

SSR 2.5 on horizontal surfaces w/Propel yellow

SSR 1 on vertical surfaces w/Propel green

NXT

Turtle Wax Tire Wax on tires

Back to Black on roof rack

Removed horrendous water spots on all windows w/Barkeeper's Friend

 Car!

What is wrong with your son if you don't mind me asking? My younger son was a month early and was on oxygen for the first week of his life but is very healthy now. That was a very tough week, I can't even begin to imagine what you are dealing with. I hope the prognosis is good. :)

He was 4 months premature. He is actually doing quite well now. He is deaf as a result of being on the ventilator for so long. We are finishing up testing to get him cochlear implants. He was in Texas Children's for the first 7.5 months of his life. Not fun. We count ourselves lucky that his loss of hearing is all that we are contending with. Could have been much worse. My daughter was also a preemie by 3 months. She was only in for a month, and you would never know she was early now.

I'm glad to hear the good news, obviously could have been so much worse. My son's only real effect from his tough start is that he is ADHD and one of the causes is a lack of oxygen at birth. Very scary in the delivery room when they kicked me out and later that day when the Priest at my Mom's church came out to talk to me and my ex. :nervous2: Since that first week though, he has been very healthy, in fact, he begins his senior year in high school with perfect attendance since kindergarten. :)

I wish the best for you and your family.

Thanks Scott. Although everyone's experience is unique, I know how you feel. I didn't get to see either of my children come into this world as both times my wife was whisked from her room to the OR, put under, and kids yanked out emergency ceserean. When you see a human being that small and yet perfectly formed, it puts a whole new perspective on a lot of things. We will have to wait and see what issues Max will deal with as life goes on. I don't think many preemies can claim perfect attendance, that's great!
