Nice big improvement. What brand is the lift and where did you get it? Also how high is your ceiling, and did you install the lift yourself. As you can tell I am looking into doing the same.

Thanks, I got it from eagle lifts. I did it with a friend and those rails are heavy as S#$%. I have 11ft ceilings.
 
I just went out and measured my garage, and I have 11 foot ceiling but a support beam in the middle that lowers my clearance to 7 feet.

9 1/2 should be fine, Maybe you cant raise the lift to the top lock, but i have mine lowered second from the top lock

May I ask how much the lift cost?



What kind of special steps did you have to take to make sure your floor would support the lift?

Nothing. it sit's right on the the racedeck for 2yrs now.:2thumbs: $2,400.00 for the lift that to was about 4yrs ago

Around 500 square Ft, cost around $1,500.00 it's been 3yrs so i maybe off a little
