Wow!! It looks like our garage did two years ago before I took it over!!
Can't wait to see how you do it!! :)

You'll know sean I told you that you'll have the please of working in it when i'm done for all the help you have given me..

plus i want to learn your ways young master.

That space definately has potential.
Have you done a layoutout yet... If not, see if you can find one of those floorplan programs. It will save you headaches in the longrun.
I'm sure when you finish you will have one sweet area to work in. :bigups

Yes I found a tile product for home depot I have the pic's on my home computer of it But I forgot the camera at home even though i brought the CF card with me. it's call multy-tile it goes for .89 a sq ft 8.99 for ten. I figured it will cost me about 500 just for the floor then I'm going to be getting a few cabinets for that back wall one Large stand up one and then three to go near the door just to the right bench were the peg board is. (which you can't see) but i'm leaving room to work my skis on my bench still then under those cabinets (there will be two stacked on each other) a five draw rolling tool box they should fit nice on top of each other and a nice place to to rool around and keep the detailing supplies right at hand. also I KNOW I NEED MORE LIGHTING... So i'm doing the track lighing around the permiters of the garage doors they will be a mix of normal and halogen so i should be able to get a nice light and I can move then so that is a plus I'm looking to sopend a 1000 in total I hpe i can keep it under buget..

What are you doing with all of that extra stuff? I was just wondering because I will soon be doing the same thing in my house and was trying to decide wether I should throw out a bunch or not.

Ok I really should have said the primer is up I just went over it again and finnally put on the gloss top coatI didn't cut in yet but i'll do that tomorrow when a put the final layer of top coat on (sounds like a car detail) and i got the tiles with free intrest for 6 months i have to get the cabinets and that will be on wensday oh ya my nephew help me move some stuff to the salvation army

The project is looking good so far! I like the trim around the window, and the prints you placed on either side. Looks like your wife might have had a hand in making over your garage! I know, because mine is doing the same!

I did my own garage and used a lot of "personal" stuff on the walls - awards, plaques, maps, etc. I even did fridge magnets!! My family thinks I'm "not right" (nothing new :nono) but it's my retreat & I love it!! ;)

I didn't see the "hopscotch" that you mentioned, but enjoy the time with your daughter. So what if it takes a little longer - it's well worth it!!!

:bigups - it's looking good so far :)

:doh I was looking for the chalk markings :hippi

What a great surprise for your wife!! :bigups

Just one word of caution - be VERY SURE of whatever you throw out!!! If you can, store stuff SHORT TERM with a friend, relative or neighbour. It might be a good idea if you have any doubts about her wanting to keep something. Sometimes we have attachments to the "dumbest" things :crazy

Nora I let my step daugter go though those things and yes we moved a ton to the attic. but on to the update

Well today is a long day as you can see my helper was up bright amd early and was still in her PJ's when she doned the boots to help daddy with her help the flooring is 2/3 done and thank's to my nephew I now have mived my peg board and build and put up three cabinets and one large floor cabinet. I'm strating to put stuff away and I havn't gotten to painting the trim farther yet. but as you can see the couch is still there I need to move that out tomorrow and that will open things up along with the three detailing cabinets i plan on putting up tomorrow will be a busy day again
