FWIW, I use 4' T8 bulbs and fixtures, in combination with a 500 watt halogen. The bulbs are 5100 Kelvin color temperature, and really help with color rendition, but not swirls and scratches.



Mounted on this cart, they are always close by...

Question...I checked into getting the 8ft T8's but the guy at the electric supply store said there's the regular T8's and the High Output T8's. What's the difference and is it advisable to get the High Output over the regular?
